The current season has been another fantastic one for the AWAS.  From our early season winemaker dinner with Massena, to the outstanding Gala Dinner at Glowbal and the recent Margaret River dinner, the wines (and food) have been top notch.  As we bring this season to a close we celebrate the arrival of Summer with friends, food and of course wine!  We are once again returning to Point Grey Golf and Country Club's clubhouse and sundeck. 

We will enjoy a casual dinner spiced up with some bottles, new and old, from the cellar, as well as some donated by the New Zealand Consuls and Trade Commissions. 

 The Australian Wine Appreciation Society (AWAS) has its Annual General Meeting at 6 pm, followed by wines on the deck at 6:30 and the Barbie at 7:30.  Your attendance at the AGM is important as it allows members a voice in the direction of the society and to hear about the current state of finances and the cellar.

The Barbie will also feature our popular Silent Auction and a Raffle for numerous bottles and other wine related prizes.

Since we will be assigning tables at the event, we will have to receive cheques or your on-line registration by June 7 to be able to include you and your guests at the event.  This event always sells out fast so sign up early to avoid missing out!
