This will be a very special dinner, featuring very special wines.  Montalto is a small boutique producer from the Mornington Peninsula, considered as the premium area in Australia for both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.  They focus on cool climate varietals from 5 different vineyards, many of the wines being single vineyard designated.  Montalto's wines are limited in production and have received many awards, including Australian Wine of the Year on three different occasions.

We are privileged to be able to taste several of these wonderful wines, paired with the excellent cuisine of Glowbal Restaurant.  This is a horizontal tasting, with all wines from the excellent 2016 vintage.  It will be interesting to see the difference terroir makes in a single vintage.

In attendance will be Brock Guthrie, a native Aussie and the exclusive distributor for Montalto Wines in Western Canada.  Brock will share with us his insights on the winery and it's fantastic wines.
